The difference between a cow and a bean
Is a bean can begin an adventure...
From "First Midnight", Into the Woods
Today is travel day! Eleven hours up the east coast highways to begin a long weekend adventure in Charlotte. So you know what this means - today's art (and the next 4 days) was painted in advance. A wee little bit of cheating once again. I do so love a challenge which has no rules. :)
For this trip, I get to play the role of art mule. Delivering paintings in parking lot exchanges under cover of darkness. Or after breakfast, whichever works best for the client. I'm also delivering the four original pieces I created for Hyong Yi's 100 Love Notes book for the big gala on Saturday night. This is the first time these pieces will be publicly displayed, and I am over the moon with excitement! Check out this project here.
And so, with a pocket full of magic beans, I am off on a journey within this month-long journey. I wonder where this path will lead?
Thank you to everyone who participated in the "Pay What You Can" event this month! A whole bunch of affordable paintings and drawings are on their way to forever homes. Hooray!
